Moses turned his face away, so that his son wouldn't see the disappointment his words had brought him. He was more upset than himself. Liã was the enemy.
"We can't trust her and you know it. She must be complicit in this whole thing. I can't believe that suggestion came from you."
"I've been studying and observing Liã's reactions for some time now. She's a hostage to this creature that you believe is stronger than her. I'm sure of it. What's more, she has shown signs of obeying orders from someone superior to her many times."
