"Come. I'll show you where you can bathe and change and stay as long as you like with us." Eliza invited, helping Liã carry her bags to a luxurious room that her father reserved to impress the rulers who visited him in a distant era.

"I'm glad you like it. I'll send maids to prepare your bath and put your things in the cupboard. You'll also need to put some fruit, wine and water on your food table." Eliza said and left.
She went to her daughter's room, and the nanny had finished getting her ready for the meal. Eliza asked her to provide everything necessary to serve Liã well and went to her own room with her daughter. She left her in bed, while she took her bath and thought about the adversity that had made Liã an enemy and her an ally. Who could have said back then that they would end up like this?
