In prison, Liliana excitedly held the phone. When she saw her father’s thin face, she couldn’t hold back her tears.

His face was also agitated. It’s been six years since she gave birth, and she disappeared. He paid off the high-interest loan and still had some money left. Because he was suddenly confused, he started playing again several times, so he owed a huge amount of money and was finally arrested.

“Liliana, forgive me! Your dad wronged you!” Being in prison for six years made him understand many things. Gambling not only caused him to lose his wife but also his daughter. He was truly remorseful.

“Dad, you’ve lost a lot of weight!” Liliana spoke softly, her voice full of pain. Looking at her father’s white hair, she felt very ungrateful.

He felt very bitter. “I’m okay. I’m doing well in here, Liliana. Are you doing well?” He felt he had no right to ask this question. Initially, his temporary confusion had ruined his daughter’s life.
