“Let her go,” Kai stepped closer to Liliana. Laura had called him and told him that Stephen had taken Liliana away. He rushed here without even having dinner, fearing that something might happen to Liliana when she was with Stephen.

Seeing Kai, Liliana felt relieved, as he was the knight in shining armor in her heart. He could come to her rescue when she was in danger, and he made her feel safe.

Stephen, on the other hand, held Liliana tighter when he saw Kai approaching, as if declaring that this woman belonged to him.

“You shouldn’t turn against me just because of a woman,” Stephen looked at Kai with a cold gaze. He, Henry, and Kai had been close friends for so long, and now they were in discord over a woman.

“Because I disappointed her,” Kai replied without hesitation. He wasn’t going to let go of Liliana’s hand now.

“Do you think she loves you?” Stephen smirked evilly, like a demon lurking in the shadows.

Liliana, held in Stephen’s embrace, wa
