Emma was taken aback and then turned to see Liliana raising her hand, signaling her to come over and ask what had happened.

There was a questioning look on Emma’s face. What was going on? She walked up to Stephen and handed him the menu.

Stephen took the menu but didn’t order anything. Instead, he looked up at Emma and said, “If you know someone named Liliana, please tell her to go to the city hospital to visit a little boy named Mei. And please convey to her that the boy misses his mother a lot and has many things to say to her.”

Stephen remembered that he had immediately wanted to come here upon receiving Anna’s message, but on the way... he received a call from the babysitter.

“Oh, sir, it’s not good. Mei has fainted! Right now, the little boy has a high fever; he must be sick.”

The babysitter sounded very urgent, and it didn’t sound like she was joking. He said, “Don’t panic. Call Karl and tell him to take the boy to the hospital immediately.”
