"I came here to tell you something important." Edward’s expression was dark, his eyes filled with anguish, as if he had just experienced something painful.

"What is it?" Tom just wanted to find Isabelle.

But Edward’s next words shocked Tom to his core.

"Isabelle, she jumped off a building and committed suicide. She’s dead."

Jumped off a building?

"What are you saying?" Tom was in shock and stumbled back a few steps, almost falling to the ground.

"It’s impossible! Isabelle is an optimistic girl. How could she do something like that? I can’t believe what you’re saying," Tom clenched his fists, his face filled with deep distress.

After taking a deep breath, Edward thought for a moment, adjusting his own emotions, and finally said heavily, "I also couldn’t believe it when I heard. I’m in a lot of pain too. But she’s already at peace now."
