Danielle hesitated a little before following Knox into the elite club. It was obvious, that Escapade was the most happening place for the rich and famous of their city. Her heart sank to see everyone around enjoying themselves, clad in the most expensive designer outfits. She was the only odd one out. Why did Knox do this to her? Did he bring her here to get insulted?

She glanced at him discreetly to see an immediate change in his demeanor as he approached a boisterous group at the far end of the chic restaurant.
