I love matchmaking for those who need them. Is that such a bad thing to do?” Danielle felt upset at his judgemental remark. It made her lose her appetite, and she got up to leave.

Knox sat with a grim look on his face.

He couldn’t tell her what was upmost on his mind. He was concerned about what could happen in the future. What if she met her life partner too and forgot about him? Frustration ate him up as he watched her leave the table.

“Don’t overreact, Danielle. Finish your breakfast! If not for yourself, eat for my unborn baby!”

Danielle stopped to give him a disappointed glance.

“Am I overreacting or are you being too interfering, Knox? I know we’re together just for the baby. So let’s not get too involved, right?” Her blatant retort echoed inside his head as she marched towards he
