Chapter 62. A Wolf Like Me
The women completely ignore us when we arrive at the fabulous villa.
Magda briefly detaches herself from the company to show Ivor and me each our rooms. Fortunately, we sleep next door, so I can look pretty close for the man in case I need him for business. Again I notice how the little girl's eyes follow Ivor; she clearly has a young crush on the Chief Warrior. But he doesn't look back at her, walks straight to his room while the drivers take our bags.
Once in my room, I take a hot bath and dress in formal pants and a shirt.
A hand through my blond hair and I'm ready. Frankly saying, I'm starving.
As a werewolf, I have a hearty appetite and this morning I missed breakfast. Ivor too actually, since we were rechecking the Queen's security. Ralph was uncompromising when he talked about Saray's protection, I could see in his demeanor toward this matter that he won't tolerate mistakes. And when Randall too came to interfere, I chose to be better safe than sorry
