Alpha Lucas's POV

I yawned out so loud that immediately I opened my eyes. It's a long night of prolonged rest. I feel ready to fight my adversaries which would be a thing of joy for me. 

Stepping my feet on the ground, I feel a different mind echo. 'Do you think you can do it? Can you indeed ward them off?'

Those are the questions my heart kept on asking that dawns on me as a reality with surprise boldly written on my face. I couldn't believe my heart could be trembling for this day.

I know the journey would be far, but I must do the needful before my pack is subdued. I am not doing this for myself, but for my whole pack.

I must stand strong as the most dreaded Alpha before things go haywire.

I sure must know what I am doing at this point. I have drafted the plans and strategy with the soldiers earlier. So, there is nothing to be afraid of. All I need to do now is to focus on how to do things.
