Meanwhile, Matthew took Claude to a nearby café close to the square, wanting him to rest for a bit.
"Father, have some water. The weather is getting hot." Matthew showed his concern.
"Alright." Claude nodded.
In truth, with Matthew's attentive attitude and care, he could feel that the young man was genuinely treating him well.
However, he felt a little regretful for Matthew and his daughter; years ago, he had been an outstanding young man, but now he was like this, and it made him feel sorry for his own daughter.
"What do you want to eat when we get back?" Matthew asked.
"No, we should go home." Claude thought and said.
"Or call Isabella to eat with us. After all, it's been a while since we've gone out together." he persuaded.
