Yes, that’s right—I remembered. I remembered everything he did to me. I remembered. Everyone seemed shocked, but I had remembered for the longest time, ever since I got hit with snow on the head. God bless that little kid.

In a short while, the police arrived and took Jason. He screamed, he yelled, and he promised to come back. I was going to be ready for him—ready, hard for him.

Everyone settled down in the hallway after Jason had been taken away.

Silence was the loudest thing I could hear as everyone just stared into whatever they could find to stare at.

Everyone had something to say, including me. Everyone had the same questions.

I knew that question was coming; in fact, if it didn’t come, I was going to get really suspicious.
