Chapter 53. It's Been Torn Apart

Doris slowly opened her eyes when the carriage stopped completely. Prince William had her gripped tightly beneath him, it took her a moment to realize the carriage was on its side and they were laying against the wall of the carriage. He held onto her as if she might break if he let go, she blinked away her surprise.
