Chapter 60. Heart in Turmoil

The confrontation was getting heated up, and Rebecca couldn't help but pace around. The thought that she was losing her man to a peasant like Valerie made her go nuts.

“What exactly did Ethan see in her? She's not classy, she's not sophisticated. What more does he want from such a disgusting maid?”

Turning to Valerie, Rebecca yelled. “You better start talking. Both of you should explain to me what this is all about.”

Still unsettled, Rebecca sat restlessly on the couch on the left, glaring hard at Valerie, who stood in front of her. Ethan, on the other hand, was also seated but in an armchair. 

“Why are you both quiet? I need an explanation of what I just saw a few minutes ago, and I need an explanation quick.” Rebecca spoke up with tears in the trace of her voice.
