Chapter 164

Mr. Hernandez staggered and fell off the cliff after he was struck by many rounds of bullets on his stomach and his chest.

“Oh my God!” Vera was breathing heavily on the floor. Her heart pounded heavily when she saw how the bullets rained on Mr. Hernandez.

“Do you see him?” one of the cops asked.

“Yes, I can see him!”

Mr. Hernandez’s lifeless body laid on the other end of the cliff.

Madison along with Lila were shocked by everything, the sudden push from Mr. Hernandez to Vera and also, by seeing Mr. Hernandez die.

“Vera, are you okay? I thought we were going to lose you forever.”

Madison was the first to run to Vera as she sat on the ground, stunned.

“I—I am—I missed you so much!”

Vera hugged Madison so tight. “I was so scared, I could hardly breathe. I thought I would never see any of you again.”
