Chapter 56

"Stop fussing will you" Aveline thundered at her husband who was following around her like a mother hen all around the office.

She is in her seventh month of pregnancy now.

She had refused to sit idle at home and was adamant on continuing her work for another month and that made Zayed Ahmed al Zidra all the more protective.

"I swear I am going to run away and give birth alone if you don’t stop this" Aveline threatened her husband who was standing patiently near her desk with a glass of milk and some cookies

She hates milk!

"Aveline, you need to drink this. And you know I am not letting you out of my sight long enough for you to plan a runaway" Zayed said with a smile all used to his pregnant wife’s mood swings and tantrums

"Keep it here. I will drink later" Aveline said, turning the pages of a file

"No. Not later. Now" He said and brought the glass towards her lips

"Stop breathing down my neck, will you??" Aveline glared at him
