“I just don't like to see you with other women, it hurts me.” She complained.

“But I'm yours, why do you have to worry?” He went closer to touch her hair, dropping his phone and bag on the desk.

“I know that, but I still feel threatened. What if you find someone better? What if you stop loving me?” The fear in her voice was detectable and Cage felt sorry for her. 

Her rough childhood had made her both defensive, paranoid and insecure. He wished he could take away all the pain she felt in the past.

“Hey, don't think like that, no woman is taking me away from you, I'm here to stay. I love you and only you. You shouldn't get jealous, I'm only yours.” Cage tried to reassure her and she finally calmed down.

“Thank you so much, but please reduce your proximity to other women.” That sounded more like a threat and scared Cage a little bit but he decided to ignore it.

“I promise.” He replied and made to kiss her when his phone started ringing.
