Chapter 147

She was already set for work that morning but she had to do a last minute check on her dress.

She would be leaving the following day to Los Angeles for the event so everything had to be ready that day.

“I still think you should take Kyran with you. That boy is giving me headache already and you haven't travelled yet!” Mrs Richards groaned but Lucy laughed.

“You're going to be fine mom. I have to get to work quickly. I have to meet with some delegates and also talk to the man who will be joining me for the event.” Lucy said, picking up her handbag and throwing it on her shoulder. They left the room and went downstairs together.

Mr Richards was giving Kyran a horseback ride in the living room and they seemed to be having a lot of fun. Lucy giggled at them and went to kiss Kyran goodbye.

“Bye mummy!” Kyran yelled out, still on his grandpa's back.

“Bye baby.” Lucy answered and told them to take care of themselves before leaving the house.
