Chapter 179

“Come in” McQueen yelled.

The door creaked open as the nurse walked in.

“Hello, I have to check her now” the nurse greeted as she spoke.

“Oh sure you can” McQueen said as he got up.

“And yes, the doctor said I should call you both into his office” The nurse spoke.

“Alright, we'd head there now” Cage responded as he got up.

He bent down as he pulled Lucy's head towards his lips. He placed a light kiss on her forehead as he gathered the dishes.

He followed slowly behind McQueen as they left the room.

“We'd be back” they chorused as they exited the room.

“Hello Ma” the nurse turned to Lucy as she smiled.

“How are you feeling currently?” The nurse asked as she pulled out her notepad.

“I feel better now, a little relieved although and random sharp pain on this side of my head.” Lucy explained to the nurse who jotted some things on her note pad.

As they spoke the nurse began to check her body.
