Chapter 231

Lucy stirred as she stretched her body. She woke up to find Lucy and Cage eating.

“You are awake” McQueen said as he stared at her.

McQueen smiled as he munched his food delightfully. In his heart he felt sorry for Lucy, she was unaware of Cage's problems. He sensed it may be a problem for their growing relationship. He didn't want to Betray Cage who confided in him either. He understood, Lucy could overreact or she could be in danger too. 

“I am. When did you wake up Cage?” Lucy asked as she slid her legs down from the bed.

“I woke up as soon as you stepped into this room filled with love” Cage said chuckling.

Lucy didn't react to his teasing. She stretched her hands as she itched her head profusely.

“I was so scared for you, I'm glad you are okay now” Lucy spoke softly.

Cage stretched his arms widely as Lucy embraced him in a hug. 

Cage held her arms as he spoke softly to her.

“Thank you so much Lucy, for everything.
