“If that's the case, then why don't you call them all back?”

“It doesn't work that way Lucy. That's why I'm offering you this job, you don't even have to work too hard and I'll still pay you.” He promised. He waited for her to speak and Lucy had no idea what to say. She was confused.

“I still don't want to work for you. I am not convinced.” She finally said.

“Lucy why don't you understand me? I am only trying to help please. Allow me to make up for everything. I'll pay you even without working just so that you can be able to stand on ur feet again.” He explained, his pleading eyes looked very convincing.

“I'm a changed person now. Being in jail has opened my eyes and I understood that what I did was wrong.”

“How did you even get out of jail?” Lucy asked, just out of curiosity.

“Oh?” He laughed.

“Well my dear, no jail can hold me. I am a force to be reckoned with.” He answered.

Lucy scoffed, knowing fully well that it was his
