Chapter 43. Rewrite
Savannah’s eyes seemed to have turned into waterfalls again due to her incessant crying.
Her tears didn’t stop because, while earlier she read joyful memories with her Mom and Dad, now it was joyful memories with Trevor. And she started with the very first memory she could recall with Trevor—where they first met.
As she read, it seemed like everything she read turned into a movie in her mind. Through reading, it felt as if she was transported back to that exact moment… as if those joyful memories were happening again in her life.
Savannah thought about how simple her life was back then. She used to cry only when Trevor had a new crush or when he got a new girlfriend. But she used to comfort herself with the fact that this new crush of Trevor would eventually fade once that new crush showed an attitude which could turn him off, and when Trevor got a new girlfriend, she always told herself that she knew that that relationship would end.
