Chapter 128

“Jake is going to be so spoiled, bro.” I hear a familiar voice as I stir from sleep. I believe that it is Chad talking to another person, but I don't know who.

“You have no idea, I can’t believe that I am a dad,” I hear another voice and I know that voice all too well, it’s Robert.

I clear my throat as I stretch lightly in the bed, I feel like I just took the bed nap in my life. I can’t tell, but I am guessing that I slept for hours. 

“She’s awake,” Chad says and I smile. My vision is not as blurry as it was before when I just woke up, it’s now clear and everything now looks vivid.

“Good morning, the mother of my son,” Robert says and he leans down to kiss me on my forehead. His lips are soft and close my eyes when they make contact with my head,

“Good morning,” I manage to say, my voice still sounding hoarse.
