“Don't say it," she shrugs. "You're not obligated to.”
“But I won't be able to fix things with her.”
“You're wrong. Everyone has their own timing. Only you know your relationship, only you know how she is in that aspect.”

“Do you want me to drive you?" I ask, and she shakes her head.

I nod nervously.
I say goodbye to him with a handshake and run to the car. I put on some music to calm myself down because otherwise, I won't be able to say a word when I'm in front of her.
