Chapter 64. Agreeing to Be His Girl
Alyssa woke up to the sound of birds the next morning. It surprised her that Nicholas hadn’t taken advantage of her in any way. Heck! He hadn’t even kissed her! What was wrong with him? Why did he take so much pain to bring her here when he didn’t even want to kiss her? She quickly freshened up and rushed down the stairs to the familiar smell of freshly cooked breakfast. At this rate, he would spoil her and she wouldn’t ever be able to live all by herself.
“Good morning, Nicholas. You’re spoiling me rotten with these delicious treats. I’m afraid I’m getting used to living with you,” she said, her eyes lighting up as she checked out the scrambled eggs, and smoked sausages he made. Nicholas smiled back and continued to make the avocado-topped toast.
“That’s precisely what I intend to do. After this, you wouldn’t be able to live all by yourself.” Alyssa chuckled, seeing the infectious mood he was in. Could she ask him about the wedding?
