Chapter 2. Instant Sparks

Brushing the feeling away, Alyssa couldn’t help but feel deeply conscious of his piercing gaze, permanently fixed upon her. It unnerved her, a feeling totally new to her since she was used to receiving male attention wherever she went. Annoyed at her reaction to the handsome devil who looked more like the Donnelly brothers, she swam to the edge of the pool.
