Chapter 115

Kate, her husband, and the other boys find themselves in the unexpected role of caretakers for Bea, as Josh has gone out to see Ian. Kate has already explained the situation to everyone, and they are all shocked to learn that Ian is married and unable to meet them. They are left wondering what could have happened, as they had believed he was just Laguna all this time.

Bea remains in bed, still not having gotten up since earlier. The boys, tired from their vigil, have also fallen asleep. Kate and Paul are the only ones still awake, perhaps weighed down by the uncertainty of Ian's situation.

As hunger gnaws at her, Kate mumbles to herself about her appetite. Sensing her discomfort, Paul silently offers her a piece of apple. However, Kate declines, insisting that the fruits are for Bea.

Paul, not wanting Kate to suffer, encourages her to take a piece of fruit to satisfy her hunger. Nevertheless, she refuses, expressing her desire for something different.
