Bea's POV
Apologies continue echoing through my mind like a broken record as I find myself lost in contemplation, gazing blankly through the airplane window. My entire being is consumed by racing thoughts, leaving me unable to think clearly. The weight of my actions weighs heavily on me, and I can't help but feel that leaving him without a proper goodbye was a grave mistake - perhaps the biggest of my life.
The image of his desperate expression as he called out to me at the airport haunts me incessantly. My heart races at an alarming pace, the moment I catch a glimpse of him in my mind. I longed to rush towards him, to hold him tightly once more, to make his tears stop.
