I gently carried Bea into our bedroom, nestling her in my arms as though she were my bride. With utmost care, I tucked her body beneath the soft, comforting embrace of a blanket. However, to my surprise, she objected, her words laced with a hint of frustration. "Stop treating me like a baby," she grumbled, extricating herself from the confines of the blanket.
Raising my eyebrows in response, I shot her a piercing gaze, a playful sternness lingering in my expression. "But you are my baby," I retorted, lightly teasing her. Not one to back down easily, Bea attempted to rise from the bed, only to be met with my swift intervention. Gently but firmly, I pushed her back down, playfully emphasizing my point. "Oops, you are not going anywhere, my baby," I declared, a trace of mischief dancing in my eyes.
Unyielding, Bea responded defiantly, her voice laced with determination. "Stop being so silly, Josh. I still have a lot of things to do,"
