Chapter 104

The boys, including Paul, decided to head out for a wild bachelor’s party, leaving me behind with Kate. The plan was that while they enjoyed their celebration, Kate and I would have our own little adventure. We thought it would be a good idea to catch a movie and have a girl’s day in.

Everything seemed to be going smoothly until, out of nowhere, my phone started vibrating incessantly. At first, I tried my best to ignore it, thinking it would be better not to disturb our precious “girls’ time.” But as the vibrations continued, I could not help but get curious and eventually, it got on my nerves.

Reluctantly, I got up from the couch and made my way to Kate’s vanity table, where my phone was charging. Kate, being the considerate friend that she is, paused the movie for me.
