Chapter 29

Jamie was worried. He had tried reaching out to Joe but couldn’t. His number was not in service anymore. Salome also did the same to Rose and got the same response. It was as if they both had been wiped off the face of the earth. That would seem terrible now the world was in jeopardy. They needed to make sure that they were alright. The news of President Storm had reached them too. It was all over the internet. Was the world coming to an end?

Jamie hoped not. He wanted to spend enough time with Salome first before any of that could happen. They had to get married first. Have kids too. The pandemic needed to be over first before any of that could happen. Jamie believed that the problem originated from him and Salome. They had been the ones who had found the staff and had brought it to President Storm. If that hadn’t happened, none of these would be going on. Jamie was so confused about what to do.

“What next, Jamie?” Salome asked, somewhat scared
