Chapter 11. Quest for Vampire

“Answer me,” Becca demanded while Alexander stayed quiet. He couldn’t believe his special power of altering reality failed right in front of his eyes. “Were you possibly trying to touch me in an inappropriate way, Alex?”

His eyes grew wider as he replied immediately, “No, not at all. Why would I even try to do that?”

“Maybe because… you are attracted to me?” she questioned him.

Even though Alexander wanted to deny the accusation at that instant, however, somewhere in his mind, he knew that he was attracted to her. There was something connecting them and thus, he didn’t want to deny the question she asked. So he said, “I was checking whether it works or not.
