Star’s POV

“You can now open your eyes.” I felt him remove his arm from around me.

“We are here, Star. You can open your eyes.”

I did as he asked. Instead of opening it fast, I slowly did so.

“Where are we… Mother?” I blinked, to make sure I’m seeing what I think I’m seeing. “Father? Brothers?”

“Star!” They simultaneously called.

A tear slid down my eyes at the sight of my family. I never thought I will ever get to see my family. But here they are, standing not too far from me.

I turned to my master; he nodded his consent.

“Mother!” I rushed over to her and enveloped her in a bone-crushing hug.

“Star,” mother sobbed. “Are you the one, Star?” She gently caressed my hair.

“It’s me, mother. I’m the one.” I sniffed, “I’ve missed you, mother.”

Who would have thought I will one day miss the family I tormented with my nonchalant ways?

“I missed you more, Star.” My mother sniffed, “I’ve missed you too,
