Chapter 72. Connection and Network

I went to my office to take my jacket and car keys, and I also took the recorder along. I informed my assistant of who I was going to see and where I would be, in case of an emergency. Or in case Medea pulled any dumb shit. You couldn't let your guard down with that woman. 

On my way to the bar, my thoughts wandered.

Somehow, she knew I was a werewolf. No, she knew my entire family was werewolves. How? How on God’s green earth did she know? We were in the States and she was in Italy, so I couldn't even guess how she knew. 

And she wants what I had? She wanted to be a werewolf? It wasn't impossible, but it was a 50/50 percent chance and it was also dangerous. Plus, it was forbidden. 

There was a very valid reason why it was forbidden. Didn't she know all this?

By the time I got to the bar, I had a piercing headache. Thinking wouldn’t do me any good. 

When I got to the entrance, the bouncer stopped me. “Name.”
