“What a stupid girl.” Alice finished her statement.

“It’s okay Alice, be quiet.” I said coldly and got up from my chair walking towards Eve who was still standing at the door. I sat down on the couch instead of going to meet her.

“You might as well tell me the reason for barging into my office Eve.” I said, looking at her sternly.

“Your mom stopped by and she asked me to give you this.” Eve said, walking to the table in front of where I sat and dropping the bag she carried.

“I tried calling you but you weren’t picking up and I knocked but you didn’t answer, your secretary said I could go in so I didn’t know you had a guest.” Eve said in an apologetic tone.
