Few hours ago.

I returned to the hotel suite and did my victory dance as I walked inside. I was still dancing when I heard someone clear their throat. Turns out Eve was still awake and she sat down looking at me with me with wide eyes. I couldn’t help but blush in embarrassment, no one had ever seen me this way and I always made sure to never show anyone my easy going side but here she was staring at me as if she could read into my soul.

“Why are you on the couch?” I snapped as soon as I regained my composure. We exchanged a few words and in the blink of an eye, she was inside the room.

I couldn’t help but wonder, was the gift too small? Did she want something else? Why did she reject the first gift I got for her and why am I bothered?

I went into my room and received a text from my mom.

“You didn’t even call to ask where I am, aren’t you worried about your mother?” The text read and I couldn’t help but smirk. I thought she was ready
