We all sat down on the chairs placed in front of the ward.

I couldn’t bring myself to go inside and face her.

I felt like a failure.

All sorts of things were running through my head.

If I had brought Eve earlier to the hospital and we found out that she’s pregnant, how would she have reacted to it?

Would she be happy to be carrying my child or is it too early for us to have a child together?

We would have gone for ultrasound and scan to check the baby and the OB-GYN would say something like—your baby is currently the size of a gummy bear and we would laugh about it.

We could even come up with a fetus name and then we’ll host a party to announce to the world that we’re going to be parents.

And then in a few months, we’ll do a gender reveal party and then later on, we’ll welcome our baby to the world but now that all this has happened, I’m not sure what the future holds for us.
