“Is she awake?” I repeated seeing as he didn’t say anything.

“Just come here fast.” He said and hung up before I could say anything.

“What is it?”

“What’s going on?” Max asked and that’s when I realized that Max was still standing behind me.

“He said we should come!” I said excitedly as I ran out of the rooftop garden with Max running behind me.

“So is she awake?” Max asked as he ran. I ignored that because I also don’t know if she’s awake.

We took the elevator down to the second floor and as it went down, I kept tapping my feet restlessly.

There was this feeling of uncertainty lurking in my mind. I was excited because in those movies, when the comatose patient’s hands move, it means they’re waking up but Jade didn’t say anything about her waking up. Maybe they have to check her vitals first to see if she’s stable or does that mean she’ll be waking up soon?
