Chapter 31

She closed the door quickly. She knew Blake and his temper. One thing was for sure, Kevin would be hurt.

Blake frowned. “Who is on the door, sweetheart?” he asked, cocking his left brow.

She just shook her head from side to side as she leaned on the door, her eyes were wide. But then, Kevin knocked again.

“HON?!” he called, which distorted her face.

She swallowed a groan when she saw the reaction of Blake. His handsome face became grim and then he said in a very cold voice, “Move away from the fucking door, sweetheart…”

“B-Blake please. Don’t…” she pleaded.

“Hon? Open up!”

She yelped when Blake all of a sudden lifted her and moved her away from the door. She covered her mouth with her hand when he angrily opened it. The minute it was opened, he punched Kevin on the face.

From the impact, Kevin’s body flew back. The bags he was holding fell on
