Chapter 173. The Fury of a She-Wolf

I smiled between my fangs, running towards her, but she was faster and dodged my strike with her claws, running away. I started to hunt her around the cabin, irritated by her cowardice. Furthermore, I glanced at the Alpha, who was beginning his confrontation with Walker, while Lambert entered the cabin in search of the cub!

“Stop running, prey. I'm going to tear you apart!” Brandi exclaimed, seizing the she-wolf's tail and pulling it forcefully backward.

She growled in fear, trying to retaliate against the bites. I applied more pressure to my jaw, tearing at the top of her buttocks and perforating her ribs with my claws.

“You don't understand, human. I had to do all this… Because of the Alpha, I lost my destined wolf, my mate, and the love of my life!” Victoria's choked tone made me release her and stare.

“What are you talking about? Your wolf wanted to take the alpha's place; he was weak; that's why he died!” I snarled, spitting on the ground the blood that
