Chapter 35

Kalla's POV

"I saw Lorcan; he told me the way to understand the book. We need to use your blood so you can manipulate it and make it royal blood."

He frowned.

"I can understand the book,"

"Finn, just accept it. I know you just created the weakening process; sex isn't the cure for my curse." I turned away from him and lowered the handkerchief over my eyes.

I immediately grabbed the cover of my eyes and held Finn's hand.

"Let's go,"

He didn't speak, and he followed what I said. We went straight to the bottom of the tower and looked for the book.

I put the lamp on the table next to the book. Finn held out his hand and a dagger.

He let me cut a portion of his palm, and when his blood soaked a page from the book, a light coming from it ignited our eyes.

We immediately felt the earth shake along with the turbulence of the water. Until the library slowly crumbled, Finn and I did nothing but watch it fall.
