Akia POV

I’m lost right now. My emotions are all over the place, making it hard to be in the present. One minute, I’m listening to the rantings of Adolf, trying to figure out what the hell he’s talking about. The next minute, my soul is leaving my body as I process the words coming out of his mouth.

Adolf is my stalker. He followed me around, leaving me gifts and notes. He beat up the first boy that I liked. He killed my parents in our home, and he’s the reason that I became an orphan. I had to leave my home and live my life in the shadows because of him.

I have to admit that the news was more than I could handle. I’m glad that Bree took over because I was too lost to function. If it weren’t for her, I might be lost to Adolf right now.
