Chapter 70. Supportive Friends

“Hey… isn’t this too much? Won’t Tate notice that I prepared too much for him?” I asked Lee, Sarah, and Paige, who were busy getting me ready.
Lee and Paige stood beside me, looking at three flannels on the bed (one was mine, and the other two belonged to Zac), debating which one suited me best—the one with white and blue stripes, Zac’s black and white striped one, or the brown and yellowish white striped one. Meanwhile, Sarah stood in front of me, applying light makeup on me while I was just wearing a white sando.
Migs, Fitz, and Zac were in the living room of the hotel room we had shared the night before. I had told them earlier to go back to their own hotel room because I felt embarrassed about what my three friends might do to me, but they didn’t listen. They seemed to have plans to go out tonight after my friends finished getting me ready.
“You’re so lucky to have your friends, Asher,” Zac joked.
“True… I’m jealous,” Migs agreed with Z
