Chapter 71. At The VIP Villa

As soon as I entered The Ridge Hotel, a few blocks away from The Cabin Hotel, I immediately knew it was a five-star beach hotel.
The lobby was vast and elegant—its marble floors gleamed under the soft, ambient lighting, there were crystal chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings, and those chandeliers casted a warm, inviting glow over the richly furnished seating areas adorned with plush sofas and armchairs in tasteful, muted tones.
After a few more steps, a grand staircase with intricately wrought iron railings curved gracefully to the upper floors welcomed me. As I looked around, I also noticed that the walls were decorated with contemporary art pieces that added a touch of sophistication, and along with those walls are the large, floor-to-ceiling windows that offered stunning night views of the pristine beach.
