Chapter 53

Bree and Lucy had walked in silently on Becca and Andrea talking. Bree had heard everything from when Andrea made Becca snap to the minute Andrea spitted out those words.

"I'll surely get Bree back"

When Bree heard those words, she was angst. She felt delighted, relieved, used, in love, angry, it was a whirlpool of emotions, some she couldn't even find names for.

In between hate and love, disgust and intense pleasure, guilt and grievances, she had so many unknown feelings.

Her expression though, was unreadable probably because she couldn't even read her feelings. She only stared into the night like a wandering ghost with no home to return to and an afterlife it could summon the courage to accept.

"Bree" Becca said like she was caught doing something bad.

"Oh wow, the only person missing now is Lucas, would've been a noteworthy reunion" Andrea clapped her hands with a mocking smile, trying to hide the nervousness she was obviously feeling.
