On the flip side, Yana found herself compelled to depart from John, who was still asleep, due to her own tardiness. Additionally, their school schedules did not align, and thus they did not commute together.

Yana dashed towards her classroom, her heart pounding with each step. Upon entering, she noticed Shane and Matthew, her two friends, wearing expressions of disapproval. They employed intense gazes, attempting to communicate an unspoken message. Yet, Yana found herself unable to decipher their intentions. Frustrated, Yana mouthed the words, "Is there something wrong?"

Obliging herself to place her bag onto her desk, Yana then directed her attention towards Shane and Matthew. "What’s with those stares?" she boldly inquired.

"You owe us an explanation, Ms. Eriane Louise Gonzales!" Shane exclaimed, her tone clearly one of anger, as she turned to face Yana.

"Miss?" Yana found her own thoughts wandering astray, briefly am
