Chapter 129. Pedro’s My Best Friend

Leo furrowed his brow slightly, then slowly opened his eyes when the loud ringing of his phone filled the room. Leo reluctantly forced his eyes to open, not wanting to disturb Alana, who was sleeping soundly in his embrace.

Leo then reached out his hand to feel for his nightstand on the right to find his phone. After that, he squinted to clarify his vision, seeing who had disturbed him in the early morning hours. It turned out to be his personal secretary.

"What's up?" Leo asked, still with his hoarse voice.

"Why haven't you contacted me again after that incident? You kept me up all night worrying about you guys," Pedro grumbled, feeling annoyed that Leo hadn't contacted him again and hadn't replied to his messages after Leo told him about the incident that happened to them.

"I forgot about you, but don't worry, we're fine," Leo casually replied, making Pedro grumble angrily on the other end.
