Chapter 136. Alana and Edgar’s Debate
Edgar furrowed his brow upon seeing Leo's arrival. However, it wasn't Leo's presence that bothered Edgar, but rather the woman beside Leo who had been holding his hand since they entered the restaurant. Of course, it was none other than his wife. Leo then walked over to the table where Edgar was already waiting, pulling out a chair for his wife before taking a seat next to Alana.
"Are you serious about discussing business with your wife in tow?" Edgar asked, glancing towards Alana, who returned his gaze with a sharp look.
"What's wrong with me? I won't disturb you; you can talk about your business, and I'll enjoy the menu at this highly recommended restaurant," Alana said, causing Edgar to shrug.
After all, she was already here. So it wasn't likely that Edgar would ask Leo to take her home, and Leo probably wouldn't comply even if he did.
