Chapter 168. Stay with Me

Pedro fell silent, not responding to Camila's words at all. "What if I ask you to cancel all your plans?" Pedro suddenly said, catching Camila slightly off guard with his request, as from the beginning Pedro had said he wouldn't impose his will or change the plans already made by Camila.

"I can't just cancel my trip, especially since my aunt has arranged everything for me. She seems excited because I finally decided to move to California to be close to her," Camila said, once again causing Pedro to just lower his gaze, so Camila couldn't see the expression currently on Pedro's face, whether he felt sad, disappointed, or angry.

"I'm sorry," and those were the only words Camila could say to Pedro, making Pedro look back at Camila with a thin smile.

"You don't need to apologize. Didn't I know from the beginning that you were going to leave? My request earlier was just my foolish request, so don't ever take it seriously," Pedro said, making Camila just stay silent.
