Chapter 27. The Punishment

Elena POV

“Where the hell were you guys today??” Lorenzo thunders angrily.

“What do you mean by that, father??” Nico questions back.

I don’t see it coming.

It happens in split seconds.

Lorenzo throws the bottle of whiskey on the desk at Nico.

The bottle hits Nico hard and crashes to the floor, breaking into pieces and spilling all its contents out.

I let out a soft scream.

Is this why my stepbrothers didn’t want me to come in here??

Because this is a place of no mercy??

“How dare you??” Lorenzo growls. “How dare you answer my question with a question??”
